US and UK tax advice from one team, with offices on both sides of the Atlantic.

Two Jurisdictions,
One Coordinated Team

Our offices put us in both tax systems, but most of our work happens remotely. We serve US and UK cross-border clients wherever they live, and the same team handles both sides of every filing.

How it works

Four offices, two time zones, one file

Cross-border work fails when two firms each see half of it. The UK adviser files a Self Assessment without knowing what was claimed on the US return; the US preparer applies a credit for tax that the UK side later refunds. Both returns are defensible on their own and wrong together.

Our offices exist so that one team sits inside both systems. London and Manchester cover UK filing, residence and HMRC deadlines. New York and San Francisco cover federal and state filing, IRS deadlines and US reporting. They work the same file, so foreign tax credits, treaty positions and timing differences are decided once, by people who can see both returns.

That also means the working day stretches from the UK morning to the US Pacific afternoon, which matters in the weeks around 15 April, 15 October and 31 January.

Do I need to visit an office to work with you?

No. Most of our work is done remotely, by email and video call, with documents exchanged securely. The offices matter because they put the team inside both tax systems, not because you have to come in. Clients who prefer to meet in person can do so at any of the four.

Which office will handle my return?

The same team handles both sides of every engagement, so your US return and your UK Self Assessment are prepared together rather than passed between firms. You have one point of contact regardless of which office is nearest to you.

Do you work with people outside these four cities?

Yes. We act for US persons across the UK and for UK nationals across the United States, wherever they live. The offices in London, Manchester, New York and San Francisco cover UK and US business hours between them.

What are your working hours across the two countries?

Each office works Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in its own time zone. In practice that gives cover from the start of the UK morning to the end of the US Pacific afternoon, which is why deadlines in both systems can be handled on the same day.
